It's Frieze Week and that means a city-wide art extravaganza of the most scintillating kind. The week kicked off with SPRING/BREAK Art Fair, followed by Felix Fair and Frieze, which officially open today! Everyone else is riding on the high flying coattails of Frieze, with galleries and museums all around the city hosting Frieze Week talks, special exhibitions and parties. Not to mention, read on for a sampling of films, talks, workshops and other goings on, as well as part 2 of our round-up of where to go in LA for bites when the munchies strike late at night...

A pop-up show and performance by Korean percussionist and visual artist Choi Sori, whose work leaps over the intersection of music, dance and visual art. This one-week residency presents an overview of the artist's visual art practice.

More than 95 upper echelon contemporary international galleries (including a strong contingent of blue chip LA galleries) land at the Santa Monica Airport for an expansive program of ambitious installations and collaborations with nonprofit organizations. Look for Focus: A Platform for Young Galleries, led by Essence Harden, visual arts curator and program manager of the California African American Museum. This special program features 12 US-based galleries presenting solo presentations by emerging or overlooked talent.

Felix Art Fair | Roosevelt Hotel, Hollywood

Opening Day: Thursday, February 29, 2024 
One of the most fun and engaging contemporary art fairs there is! Held at Hollywood's classic Roosevelt Hotel, exhibitions from 60+ influential galleries – domestic and international – occupy the guest rooms on the 11th and 12th floors and the cabanas surrounding the pool.
