The American artist presents recent paintings and robotic LEDs in her first major exhibition in Los Angeles since 2012 and the first time she has employed AI technologies in her text-based practice. Through her timely reflections on the American experience — including the current shift into the latest phase of the Information Age — Holzer continues to push the frontiers of contemporary art and language.

In his multi-media works involving digital manipulation, painting and embroidery, the LA-based Persian artist investigates Persian history and cultural dialogues. Combining symbols and imagery to create new and expanded meanings for sacred images, Tabriz pulls from Indian miniatures, the Persian lion, Iran’s retired flag and family photographs.
